PLANNING AND TIPS TO HAVE A GREAT TRIP
We have prepared a plan for you. Check it out!
Friday 30 (first day): You arrived in Oslo´s airport
and rent a car and then go to the hotel, go to
your room and go to bed.
Saturday 31 (of November): A visit for Oslo with
Halloween enviroment. You can visit the most
important places of the city. Look at the Top 10 attractions from Oslo:
Sunday 1: A visit to the town of Drøbak at 30 minutes
from Oslo. It´s a town characterized in it
old close streets and it peculiar houses. There is a dock with a nice aquarium and a square
with the
christmas house of Tregaarden and the mail office of the Santa Claus´s elves.
We
recommend you to have lunch in Skipperstuen, a restaurant with varied food, delicius
mussles and a amazing fish soup.
After lunch and
have a walk, you must go to the dock where it set sail many boats. There are free
to take you to Oscarsborg´s
Island. It´s a small island where there is an old
fort. In the second
global war, the king of Norway took refugie there.
Then you can come
back to the hotel or do sightseen around Drøbak
Monday 2: A visit to Hadeland Glassverk and the silver mines of Kongsberg.
Hadeland Glassverk
is an old factory of glass placed at 40 kilometers of Oslo. It´s stilling
working and doing things with
glass like vessels, cups... There is also a museum
of the factory.
After that, you can
go to Kongssberg at 93,5 kilometers of Hadeland. We recommended
you to have launch in
Skragata mat og vinhus. They have good meal and
a big varied wines.
In Kongberg you can
go to the silver mines. Their best amusement is the mine of the king that
you can go en a mining train.
Afterwards you can
have a walk in the town or come back to the hotel.
Tuesday 3: You must go to Fredrikstad, an old beautiful city at 94 kilometers of Oslo. It´s one of
the most fortified places of Europa and the most important
industrial centers of Norway. It has be
peculias buildings. It has also a beautiful
cathedral.
Later we
recommended you to have lunch to Slippen. A restaurant that has a extensive
quantity and delicius
seafood typical form Norway. Then you can do sightseen
around close
places or do a beautiful path in the forest. Come back to Oslo when you prefer.
Wednesday 4: Wednesday at 9:30 you have to leave the hotel and go to the sledges track in
Stovner. Is a very long slide, and you can see all the town and the forest. The duration of the trip
is 15 minutes, and is very beautiful and funny.
In the top of the hill you have the restaurant Grefsenkollen, and you can go to the hotel at the time
do you prefer.
Thursday 5: Thursday you must leave the hotel at 10:00 to take car and go to Hemsedal. It´s
travel of 3 hours. You´re going to climb with Leslie Ayres, an experienced climber and it´s
include in the total price. He knows the area like the back of his hand. Leslie offers guided
climbing tours. He originally comes from England, and therefore he speaks fluent english as well
as fluent norwegian.
All climbing is done on request and prices is 298,45 EUR per day for 1-3 persons. You finish the
activity at 19:00 and you can have the dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.
Friday 6: If you like go shopping and buy souvenirs, you will take a day relax day on
the shopping area of Oslo. What and where do you can buy?

Saturday 7: Visit the surroundings of Oslo.
In the west coast
of Oslo there is a metal treatment factory in Bærums Verk. This small town is
also a beautiful place where
there are shops, small houses and the river
Lamma. You can visit a
museum of smelting furnaces. In this village
you can see the typical life of Norwegian.
We recommend you to
have lunch in Vaertshuset Baerums Verk, where there are typical
meals from Norway.
Then
you have to go through Oslo and go to the Fun Fair of TusenFryd. The biggest of Norway
and have more than 30 amusements.
The fun fair close at 19:00.
Sunday 8: Wake up early for go to the airport and give
back the car. The flight departs at 7,20 and
arrived in Faro at 18,35.
